After a two-week international break, Premiership is back this weekend. Today, Manchester United visit Bolton Wanderers in a 3pm kick-off. Man Utd are joint top of the league with Arsenal (Arsenal have played one game less) whereas Bolton are stuck in the relegation zone and are third from bottom.

As far as the team news is concerned, Man Utd are still without long-term absentees Gary Neville (maybe he will never return and just retire) ,Mikael Silvestere, Park Ji-Sung ,Paul Scholes and Ben Foster. There are also doubts surrounding the availability of Nemanja Vidic and Carlos Tevez. Vidic might not return to England in time to feature in the game. On the other hand, Tevez is in Manchester but Sir Alex might not pick him because he has just returned from South America after playing in two World Cup qualifiers. Bolton have El-Hadji Diouf back after a one-game suspension. But its the likely return of Nicolas Anelka to their team that will give them a major boost.

Having said that, Bolton have been very poor this season. They have improved under Gary Megson, but they are still not winning games. In stark contrast, Man Utd are in great form, having won 9 of their last 10 games. In my view, Bolton don't have enough quality to trouble Man Utd. Even without Rooney, Man Utd's attacking personnel is just too hot to handle for most teams. Everything points to a Man Utd victory, and that is exactly what I am predicting.

My Prediction: 0-2
